It used to work great, but now it crashes almost immediately

 This app crashes within 15 seconds of opening it. It used to work great, but this problem has suddenly started on every iPhone and iPad I own.  Very frustrating considering I pay an annual fee for the full features of this app.  Please fix this problem as soon as possible. Thank you.

Hello,
I have been using the “Lighter” app for several months and am enjoying it a great deal. Unfortunately the app started crashing about a month or two ago and I haven’t been able to get it working since then. I am using an iPhone XS Max and the version of Lighter I am currently running is 1.0.66.0. I decided to spend some time troubleshooting and I have concluded that there is a “Friends of Hue” accessory that I had added into the Hue app that is causing the Lighter app to crash. This third party accessory that is causing this issue with the Lighter app is called the Lutron Aurora Dimmer Switch. It was released only a couple of months ago. I started my troubleshooting process by resetting my Philips Hue bridge and re-adding all of my lights one at a time. I then tested the Lighter app and it worked fine. I then added all of the Philips Hue dimmer remotes as well as wall sensors and then tested the Lighter app and it worked fine. Finally, I added the Lutron Aurora Dimmer Switch to the Hue app and then tested the Lighter app and boom! It crashed within a couple of seconds. I am going to assume that this is at least part of the reason why other users are experiencing issues with this app crashing and I would love it if you could figure out a fix for this. If you need me to test anything else out please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate.

Hi Justin, Sorry about the issue.

Could you go in the settings panel (last tab, settings button), then scroll to the bottom and tap the "Copy Diagnostics Data" button. This will copy the data on your bridge , including the configuration of the Lutron switch.

Then, paste that in an email to david@abetterhome.co

(this is a large amount of text, so your phone might freeze for a second or two)

I will look into fixing the crash.
Additionally, if you can tell me when the app crashes (on startup? or when you activate certain scenes?), that would also help.

Sorry about the issue, could you tell me which version you have? is it the latest?

Could you try restarting the device? Is the device's drive full?
