Is there a way to synch Hue to the music coming out of your Echo if you have Hue linked to your Echo?

OK, so was all excited to get my Hue, and glad I found Lighter.  However, I really thought that by now there would be a way to synch my Hue lights to music coming out of my Echo (if I had my Hue linked to my Echo, which I do) without doing some kludge that involves using my phone microphone (no thanks!!).  Does such a solution exist?  Thanks.

Unfortunately it's more complicated than it seems, as apps can't access other app's activity on Echo, for privacy reasons. That's why so many apps use the microphone, it's sort of a solution by default.

Amazon Music or TuneIn mostly.  Seems like  Echo native support would be a no brainier

Hi,

Lighter doesn't support this feature, and I'm not aware of any app that does. Which music service are you using to stream music on your Echo?
